Additionally, because the user is very silent, it cannot be defended against. The user will often slit their opponent's throat, preventing any cry that might give them away. This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Clones made by this jutsu are also able to deceive Byakugan users, as shown in the (short) fight Hinata had with one of Guren's clones. Hinata could see the Chakra Pathway System of the clone, unlike in the situation with a normal clone generated by the Clone Technique.

This is Akako and Yukiko's kekkei genkai that can crystallize anything that has mass ie wood, water, etc. However it cannot crystallize raw energy such as lightning and chakra as those do not have mass. Since it can crystallize mass, even humans and such are at risk for being killed by being crystallized by a crystal user. And since it can crystallize mass, crystal users have an unlimited supply of weapons as they can crystallize even molecules in the air.

This technique is solely used by Guren, First she creates a number of crystal flowers. Then she grows these flowers into a gigantic labyrinth consisting of red crystals, confusing all enemies inside of it. The enemies will mostly be lost because of the fact that the red crystals reflect their personal image as well as generates mirror images of the routes, paths, and details within the labyrinth, confusing and intimidating them. It is even capable of confusing the Byakugan.
Because of the crystal's stable molecular structure, a simple attack focused at one point is rendered useless, as its wide surface will evenly disperse the force of the attack, reducing the attack's effectiveness.
