Kurotsuki Senju's story

After the great ninja war, fear break out amongst the people of kirigakure. In this war, different sides battled each other using ninja, some of whom possessed kekkei genkai. After the war ended, memories of the horrific battles still lingered in the minds of the people. Those with kekkei genkai quickly became feared and hated for their abilities, out of concern that their existence would only bring about more war.

Kuro, originally given the name Enmu (lit. meaning Haze) was born under the clan of those capable of using ice release kekkei genkai. Due to the fear of Enmu's safety, Enmu was wrapped in a blanket and drifted of on the ocean in a small boat made of ice. After days of drifting on the ocean, the boat was stranded on the shores of an unknown land. Enmu, still being an infant cried as loud as he could due to the hunger. A man, hearing the cries walks over to the boat and lifts Enmu up from the ice boat and brought him home. That man is Hiruzen Sarutobi, the sandaime hokage of konoha. Being brought up with the ways of the will of fire, Enmu was given the name Kurotsuki Senju in the honor of konoha's founders and so that the name of the senju clan would live on.

Growing up, Kuro chooses not to attend the ninja academy but instead asked of his "father" to enroll him into musical classes due to his love for music. However, on his eighth birthday, Kuro discovers his ability to manipulate water out of his free will and allowing it to change form into ice. Excited, Kuro heads home and shows his "new" found ability to his "father". Hiruzen only smiled and pats Kuro on the head lightly saying " In every burning desire to protect, there exist the cold wind to calm it...and you're given that Kuro..use it well." After that, Kuro starts showing immense abilities in ninjutsu and taijutsu without previously attending a ninja academy in the first place.

Ten years have passed since Kuro first set foot into Konoha and Kuro has grown up to be a fine shinobi and a musician at the same time. However, on his tenth birthday, Kuro collapsed and fell ill. Medic upon medic were called upon and none is able to cure Kuro. Even though sick, Kuro is able to grin and bear it all in order to lighten up the atmosphere around him. Finally, the news was broken out that Kuro is suffering from a fatal disease and is unable to be cured due to the absence of information on Kuro's body. Unshaken, Kuro told his "father" of his wishes to travel the ninja world in order to write his final song before his death. Hiruzen, smiling, grants Kuro his wish as Kuro sets off on his journey to write his final song.

Years passed and Kuro still on his journey to write his final song heard the news of his "father's" death trying to defend Konoha from the assault of his ex pupil, Orochimaru. Saddened by the news, Kuro is heartbroken and falls into despair at the thought of his "father's" death. However, after remembering his times in Konoha, Kuro starts to remember his "father's" words and decides to continue his travels. After a long travel, Kuro chances upon Kiri and thats where he gets to know his true origins of being born from the ice clan of Kiri. Kuro knowing that his life is almost up decides to take his chances and takes the ninja exams becoming one of the seven swordsman of the mist. In Kiri, Kuro makes a new family, slowly counting to the days when the god of death would come before him and takes his life.
