The sword glowed bright yellow and was apparently infused with pure electrical energy thus it's name. The blade was unusual in that, though it appeared to retract into or emanated from the hilt or crossguard not unlike a Lightsaber (and producing the same sound), it was apparently solid and subject to stressing and being shattered when sufficient force was applied. The forces required were extreme, however, as a weakness in the blade had to be created first with a sustained attack from Sasuke's Chidori, an extremely powerful lightning based attack itself, and then in order to actually break the sword it needed to be struck with Rasengan in the weak point that was created.
It is however, extremely valuable from a combat point of view, as Aoi claimed that the wielder of the blade was essentially invincible. However, if one relies on the sword too much, it was proven that with skill and teamwork, a Jōnin wielding the sword can still be defeated by a pair of Genin, albeit they were using A-rank techniques. On the other hand, it is also possible that not being the proper owner of the blade and having had no formal training on its use, Aoi simply did not know how to use the weapon to its full potential.

As the name suggests, this technique is simply a very quiet method of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade. Additionally, because the user is very silent, it cannot be defended against. The user will often slit their opponent's throat, preventing any cry that might give them away. Zabuza was a master of this technique, and was even good enough to track and kill opponents through sound alone.

By wrapping his body in a layer of Lightning chakra, the Fourth Raikage can electrically stimulate his nervous system and speed up his neural synapses to react faster to danger and push his physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing him to gain tremendous raw speed and monstrous power. This armor, combined with taijutsu, allows A to utilize nintaijutsu. Both C and Darui expressed surprise at him using this technique.[1]

While using this technique, his reflexes are comparable to that of Konoha's Yellow Flash, making it difficult, if not impossible, even for the Sharingan to keep up with him.[2] By combining this armor with the Body Flicker Technique, he can even dodge the Amaterasu at a split second, as well as Jūgo's Cursed Seal Chakra Blast at point blank range. The armor also increases his defense, drastically reducing, if not completely negating, damage from incoming attacks as even a direct Chidori was barely able to pierce his chest. In addition, the armor seems to increase his strength, though this could be part of his own natural abilities.

The user charges at his opponent, striking them with a Lariat move. This strike is powerful enough to blow away the target's entire chest. The attack is straightforward, though, and can be easily seen through with the Sharingan.
When Killer Bee uses this attack, he creates either a chakra cloak or chakra bones, both in the form of bull's horns. He refers to this as his "Eighth" (八本目, Happonme) sword, next to his seven conventional katana.
When A uses it, he surrounds himself with his Lightning Release Armor, rather than tailed-beast chakra. His high-level chakra, which is comparable to that of a tailed beast's, would produce the same effect as Killer Bee's version.
