The Great Crossroads

a shadow is seen walking through the sandstorm as it comes into view revealing a mask man carrying a large wrapped up sword on his shoulders as he looks around.

looks like everything's in ruins..

the figure kneels down and inspects the area as it looks further into the sandstorm

Kasumi looks around from the shadow of her hood. She had wandered all the way to the land of wind and into a sandstorm. She continued looking around as she notices a figure a bit through the blowing sands. She frowned only slightly, hardly showing on her dead pan face. "Of course I'd already encounter someone." She thought to herself. She did not wish for any sort of battle.

the masked figure turns to look slightly over his shoulder as the sandstorm continues to cover everything. As the sandstorm grows harsher, Hagane disappears from view and appears behind the other figure.

Kasumi watches as the figure disappears and notices that the person appeared behind her, which didn't surprise her. Most always appear behind the person they are targeting. She only looked over her shoulder with a dead pan expression. "And what might you want?" she says.

the figure behind the female figure clears up revealing to be a cactus as tumble weed rolls in front of her followed by a whistling sound of the sand dunes.

She just stares at the cactus before turning again and continue walking. "Peh..." she thinks. Why would it ever be straight forward? But she didn't really care though either. She rarely talked to others anyways, this person was no different.

as the female figure is walking, she steps on something soft and a high pitch screech can be heard and scratches on her legs.

Kasumi looks down at the the thing scratching at her legs and she moves looking at it so that she's not stepping on it. She stares at it. "Stupid thing..." she thinks. She looks around again. "Must belong to that person..."

the kitten that the female figure steps on runs further into the sandstorm as after a few seconds, the masked figure comes into view with the kitten's head visible from within his robe. Akatsuki huh...don't you have a bijuu to capture? the masked figure continues walking towards the female figure.

Kasumi stands there as the masked figure finally shows himself and says something. "Maybe I do..." She stares coldly at him. "Maybe I don't... What's it to you?"

the masked figure shrugs as he reaches the female figure its nothing to me i don't really care.. the masked figure passes by the female figure and walks into the sandstorm see you around somewhere akatsuki

"..." Kasumi says nothing as she walks away. She actually preferred being a wanderer over being a part of anything. But that didn't matter too much. She walked away, continuing along the crossroads until she disappeared in the sandstorm but a colder wind blew as she disappeared.
