Background story:
Tukiko was born in amegakure. She didn't really know her parents as they were killed in war. She grew up on her own, just barely getting by. She was ashamed of how she was living but felt it was necessary to fight to keep living no matter what. One day she was walking through the village, heading to get some food when a building nearby exploded. Enemy ninja were attacking. A three member squad saw her eyes and thought she was a ninja and attacked her. She was nearly killed but then she seemed to loose consciousness. When she came too again, some villagers were around her asking if she was okay. They had all witnessed the event but wouldn't tell her what happened except that she had killed the enemy ninja. Some kinda acted scared of her, while others proclaimed she was heroic.

With the incident, attention was put on her. She was entered into the ninja academy. Sometimes she was treated special by some teachers that were in awe of her rinnegan. She hated the attention and told them to stop that she was an ordinary person just like them. She became frustrated easily. One of the more kind teachers explained the history of the rinnegan and about the legendary person called pein that had the rinnegan before her along with the stories about the first rinnegan user. Tukiko from that day on wanted to work for a big goal and to use the rinnegan wisely and for a great purpose. She wanted to do as the other two users before had done and do something great, except actually finish it.

Tukiko finally graduated from the ninja academy after a few years. She was one of the best because of her ability to use all of the elements through the rinnegan. She got put into a team with some other ninja and worked on getting better and better. She quietly did her low rank missions, not liking them, but still doing them without a complaint. She would often would gently rebuke her team mates when they'd begin to whine about the unchallenging missions, telling them they should just be happy and proud to be ninja. Tukiko always had a bigger appreciation for life and looking at the positive compareds to others.

Finally the chuunin exams came around. Amegakure chose select teams to participate. Tukiko's team was one. She was excited. After a tough first two tests, Tukiko's team was still in the running. She made it past the semifinals easily but her other team mates didn't. They stayed and watched in excitement as Tukiko went up for her first final battle. She was put up against a hyuuga leaf ninja. The battle was tough, but she still managed to win. With her skills and tactics she showed, she was promoted to chuunin.
